We would dearly like to do a post today – especially a Mischief one. However, as you can see, Litchi is in no state to do anything!
After Party Hangover (2 days later, I might add!)
Zero Zeal!
Apparently, my internet connection feels the same way. It has taken approximately 10 attempts, thus far, to post this. My apologies, therefore, to all whose posts I have not manage to read. Don’t blame me – blame the party! It seems to have affected all telecommunications throughout Litchi’s colony, South Africa.
To all South African’s battling with networks – Litchi would say “sorry”, if she were awake!

This has been going on for over a week now. I’m so far behind that it’s driving me crazy. On Saturday, I managed to read 3 blogs in the entire day – kind of takes the fun out of everything.

Hmm…sounds like something evil is afoot! Luckily I’ve had no problems with the computer (uh oh…I probably jinxed myself now). Well, for what it’s worth, Lady Litchie was the purrfect hostess at the party-Sam had a blast. Hope your computer icki-ness resolves itself……we miss you!

Oh boy, hope you haven’t jinxed yourself 🙂 I’ll tell you, this is no fun at all! I keep reading posts, then trying to reply and get bombed out each time. Eventually you just give up. Everyone is going to think I don’t like them anymore.
There IS mischief afoot. Whee have written three witty and vaguely entertaining comments and it hasn’t let us post them. Now whee have forgotten what they said, but you will have to take our word for it that they were very clever!
Hopefully this one will work and Litchi will recover from the party hangover soon.

I believe you. I bet they were the wittiest comments ever. It’s exactly what’s happening to me. I try to reply or comment and each time it bombs out. Eventually you either give up or forget what you were saying. We’ll just know that we are thinking the cleverest thoughts ever and the others will have to believe us 😀

Internet issues are THE WORST! Good luck getting them fixed up.
They are the worst! I’m going completely batty here. Still doing the same thing to me. Go onto a post, read, comment, post and get bombed out. Retry, bombed out – retry again – bombed out. Eventually you can’t remember what you were saying in the first place.
Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do. I’m working of a cell phone network and they are experiencing problems at the moment. I simply have to wait. Very frustrating.

Isn’t it amazing how, suddenly, we cannot do any work at all without permanent internet connection. Frighteningly, I remember the first TV add for a fax machine! 🙂

Bad internet is no fun. Poor Litchi!
It’s taking all the fun out of blogging (never mind the fact that I can’t actually do any Work, either). Never mind, though. I’m nothing if not persistent. I simply keep writing comments and replies, getting bombed out and going through the same process a couple of hundred times until it finally goes through. Some of the replies were quite different the first time around 😀

Ooops! What a state to end up in! Hope she makes a speedy recovery! lol 😉 I’ve had connection problems too though it’s mobile broadband and is affected by the poor weather conditions. I gave up the other night and shut the thing down for the night after visiting nobody!
That’s exactly what I’m suffering – mobile broadband disaster! I’ve spent hours trying to read and comment on posts and end up managing maybe 3! A full day later, I end up doing exactly as you did – shut the thing down and give up. I may never have been normal but the level of insanity is becoming severe 😀
On a lighter note – Litchi is feeling much better today. It was her first party and she had no idea how to control herself 🙂
I am delighted to find someone else using mobile bb! You clearly understand perfectly the disasters that can strike in this situation 🙂 The weather is really bad tonight so not sure how long the connection gremlins will stay out of sight for but I am grabbing the moment to wonder just how much I’ve missed! Hope Litchi has learned a few things about self control in my enforced absence 😉

Intermittent reception and then….nothing! We shall persevere though and get our replies out, even if it does mean stepping closer towards insanity 😀
