Random Act of Kindness

This is my first ever attempt at doing a re-blog.  Let’s hope I got it right.

Internet connection disaster and all, I somehow managed to read this post on Barb’s Blog and simply cannot resist.  This post touches me in so many ways.  It’s a South African story, it’s an unusual act of kindness and it was towards an animal in need.

Random Act of Kindness.

Sometimes it is worth having faith in human nature!

  6. What a story!! It worked just fine!

    • Glad it worked, although i see when other people do a re-blog, it puts some of the original posts writing in it. I have no idea how to do that. Oh well, at least people were able to hop over and have a look. It seemed like the perfect story to share!

  7. OMG, this is such a sweet story. Whoever this man is, I am in love with him! And ai am going to repost this story and video too. Heroic stories ought to be spread around 😉

  8. What a terrific story, I am always touched when someone gives up their own quest to help rescue a person or animal that wouldn’t make it alone.
    Great post 🙂

  9. Nice one. Hope your internet connection is now behaving. Have a terrific Thursday.
    Best wishes Molly

    • Thanks Molly. Unfortunately, the internet is still giving me uphill. I’m on a mobile connection and they are battling with signal at the moment. I have brief moments of joy and then Bang, down we go again. Fear not, though, we shall continue to persevere.
      Have a fantastic day!

  10. There’s still hope for us humans.

  11. But it’s hard having faith in human nature!

    • It is hard, I agree. That’s why, when little snippets of light like this happen, I think it’s important to share them. I will say that, dealing within the rescue environment, you get to see that absolute worst side of human nature but you also get to see the best. The people who will do anything for another living creature. Sometimes this field actually ends up giving me more hope than it does despair.

I have seen more bad sides than good sides these days. But who knows, I’m sure there are still good people out there. They are just hard to find. 😉
