Lap of Love

If animals could teach people how to live and love within this diverse and beautiful world of ours, then this video would be their teaching aide.

You may already have seen this.  It came to me via email and I have no idea to whom credit should be given.  However, it was simply too good not to share.

Go on – swim your Lap of Love today!

  8. I’ve never seen that before! I’m so glad you shared it. Awesome! 🙂

  9. The guy is called Adam Hansom and he is a farmer in the Cotswolds in the UK, he also does a spot called Adam’s farm for the BBC so it might be that this was captured by someone from the BBC. Mind you who really cares who did it, it just warms the heart to see such joy being displayed. Thank you so much for posting it.

    • Brilliant – thanks so much for the information. At least I now know who the chap is. Very interesting. But, as you say, even without knowing, I simply had to share it. Hope Adam doesn’t mind 🙂 He seemed like a nice enough chap to hopefully forgive me for posting without credit.

  10. Just the thing to brighten a less than sunshine day

  11. Lovely. Thanks for sharing.

  12. So wonderful! I wish I lived on the ocean with a marine mammal-loving lab!

  13. How amazing is this. Loved it. 🙂

  14. Amazing video! The Lab and the dolphin so obviously enjoy each other’s company. If animals can do it, why can’t we? We still have a lot to learn.
Thanks for sharing this touching video clip.

  15. Such a sweet video, I love how animals don’t know conventional boundaries.

  16. Run A Muck Ranch

I saw another video of these 2. So sweet…

    • Ah, the first one who’s seen it already. I even thought twice about posting it, thinking everyone would have seen it already because it’s so beautiful but, there you go – hadn’t quite gone viral yet. Probably just got in on time. Should imagine this one will be seen by everyone soon.

  17. Spectacular!

  21. petphenom

Thank you for sharing the video!

  22. So beautiful! I LOVE love, especially when its puppy love!

  23. Animals could teach mankind so much, if only we’d listen. Beautiful, I loved it.

    • What with being able to talk and therefore loosing our ability to read body language and, then, adding living in cities and forgetting about nature completely, we’ve become truly weird mammals. Every now and then it takes a video like this to remind us that we can all break through the differences and make wonderful friends.

  24. Lovely, wonderful fun!!! 😀

  25. What can I say, brought a tear to my eye, so lovely. I love that song as well. How the heck do you get a dog to swim out to a Dolphin..amazing. Loved it 🙂 xx00xx

  30. oh My Cat! how totally cool is that! My Mom luvluvluvs dolphins!what a lucky pair those two are to have found such friendship

  31. WOW! This video just made my week! How did the Lab know that his buddy was nearby? Is there some animal to animal form of distance communication I don’t know about? Truly amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂

  32. Every time I see this, I get teary-eyed…. Humans have SO much to learn from animals and their intelligence.

  33. Chancy and Mumsy (Mag)

Love it!!! I had not seen it before. We can learn a lot of things from dogs and other animals. And humans are supposed to be the most intelligent…are we really? Thank you for sharing the video.

    • Indeed, are we really the most intelligent. We don’t seem to be able to get past our differences and make friends no matter what. We destroy and plunder our planet. I do wonder about us sometimes. Glad you enjoyed the video – it was just too cute not to share.

  34. Awww, what a lovely video, thanks for sharing!

  35. I LOVE this video! How cute are they both! Absolutely beautiful and charming! Bisous Bailey

  36. I first saw this on a BBC show called “country file” on which Adam Hanson is a part time reporter, it is adorable. 🙂 I had a Golden Retriever who loved to swim in the sea but wouldn’t go near a river, my Border Collie will dive in a river but runs away from waves when we go to the beach? What goes on in their heads is a mystery to me sometimes. 😀
