If animals could teach people how to live and love within this diverse and beautiful world of ours, then this video would be their teaching aide.
You may already have seen this. It came to me via email and I have no idea to whom credit should be given. However, it was simply too good not to share.
Go on – swim your Lap of Love today!
Amazing! Yes, it’s too good not to share!! Thanks to you!!
Hi Gorgeous – glad you liked it. Thought it might appeal to you 🙂

We love this video!
Glad you enjoyed. I just love seeing animals of different species creating bonds like that.
That’s amazing!!
Isn’t it just gorgeous!
Pawsome! Thank You for sharing. Have a marvelous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Such a pleasure, sharing a beautiful video like that. Marvelous Monday back to you 🙂
That’s just wonderful (you know what? first my mom thought it’s a shark uh oh ! as blind as a bat this girl BOL!)
In fairness, it would have been even more remarkable if it had been a shark but, alas, merely a beautiful dolphin 😀
at the first look it could be a shark – but fortunately not THE WHITE SHARK ;o)
Amazing video!! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful video!!
Thank you, I thought it was too good to ignore. Glad you enjoyed it.
That’s very beautiful…I have never seen it before. Thank you for sharing it Susan 🙂
So glad you enjoyed it. It’s always fantastic when you see these types of inter-species relationships built.
if only we could ignore our differences the way animals do. Thank you for sharing!
Exactly! Animals really could teach us a thing or two.
I’ve never seen that before! I’m so glad you shared it. Awesome! 🙂
I’m so glad you enjoyed it 😀 Couldn’t possibly let that one go without sharing 🙂
The guy is called Adam Hansom and he is a farmer in the Cotswolds in the UK, he also does a spot called Adam’s farm for the BBC so it might be that this was captured by someone from the BBC. Mind you who really cares who did it, it just warms the heart to see such joy being displayed. Thank you so much for posting it.
Brilliant – thanks so much for the information. At least I now know who the chap is. Very interesting. But, as you say, even without knowing, I simply had to share it. Hope Adam doesn’t mind 🙂 He seemed like a nice enough chap to hopefully forgive me for posting without credit.
Just the thing to brighten a less than sunshine day
Sorry to hear you’re having a less than sunshiny day but really glad I could help brighten it a little bit.
It was just the ticket!
Lovely. Thanks for sharing.
So glad you enjoyed it.
So wonderful! I wish I lived on the ocean with a marine mammal-loving lab!
Agreed to both, however, even if we got to live on the ocean, it’d be mighty unusual to find another lab and dolphin love affair going.
How amazing is this. Loved it. 🙂
It really is amazing. Couldn’t help but share it. Wish people could ignore differences as well as these two.
So super cute!
Agreed – really cute. Glad you enjoyed.
Amazing video! The Lab and the dolphin so obviously enjoy each other’s company. If animals can do it, why can’t we? We still have a lot to learn.
Thanks for sharing this touching video clip.
Exactly – wish all people could learn to behave a bit more like animals (in the good way, of course). Glad you enjoyed it.
Such a sweet video, I love how animals don’t know conventional boundaries.
Wish more people could learn to react to life like that! The world would be a far nicer place if they did.
I saw another video of these 2. So sweet…
Ah, the first one who’s seen it already. I even thought twice about posting it, thinking everyone would have seen it already because it’s so beautiful but, there you go – hadn’t quite gone viral yet. Probably just got in on time. Should imagine this one will be seen by everyone soon.
Spectacular!
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
So glad you enjoyed it
I would love for Doggy to bring me that fish home for dinner.
Oh yes, I’m sure you would!!! All those lovely goey warm comments and then …… Doggy! The fish will be in the mail with the Springbok and cheque 😀
Love this!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog today, hope you will return. I’ll be back to see you.
I’ll most definitely be back. Thanks for popping by this side. So great to have you here
Oh, that pup is having a great time! I thinks the dolphin is, too…
Kisses,
Ruby
The dolphin definitely is. Apparently it comes most days to visit the dog. They truly are friends – too sweet.
Thank you for sharing the video!
An absolute pleasure.
So beautiful! I LOVE love, especially when its puppy love!
Nothing quite like puppy love, is there?! Always puts a smile on my face 🙂
Animals could teach mankind so much, if only we’d listen. Beautiful, I loved it.
What with being able to talk and therefore loosing our ability to read body language and, then, adding living in cities and forgetting about nature completely, we’ve become truly weird mammals. Every now and then it takes a video like this to remind us that we can all break through the differences and make wonderful friends.
Lovely, wonderful fun!!! 😀
They do both seem to be having such fun, don’t they 🙂
Please accept a star….!

Your blog is definitely star worthy… 🙂
Thank you – that is so very sweet. I think I’ve already got the six (possibly more), I’m just terrible at getting the thank you posts out.
Join the crowd….! 🙂
😀 Yes, I did notice that you used my trick – build them all up and do one mammoth post
What can I say, brought a tear to my eye, so lovely. I love that song as well. How the heck do you get a dog to swim out to a Dolphin..amazing. Loved it 🙂 xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
Well, the dog, being a Labrador, probably automatically started swimming there so I’m assuming the Dolphin found the dog and they’ve been best friends ever since. It is really cute though, isn’t it!
This is so lovely, I got tears in my eyes of so much friendship and love 🙂
Yip, I agree wholeheartedly. Wish people could tear down the barriers as well as that.
This is amazing! I love it. I couldn’t help smiling all the way through watching this 🙂
Then you had the exact same reaction as myself – just smiling all the way through 🙂 So glad you enjoyed it.
One of the best videos ever!!
🙂
That’s exactly what I thought. Just couldn’t pass over the opportunity to share it with everyone.
Not sure my dogs would just swim with that dolphin. 😛
Oh I don’t know, I think yours would love it. They love the water, they’re adorable – bet the dolphin would make friends with them as well.
awe…Loved it! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
So glad you enjoyed it. Couldn’t help but share it.
oh My Cat! how totally cool is that! My Mom luvluvluvs dolphins!what a lucky pair those two are to have found such friendship
I’m with your Mum there – just adore dolphins and yes, they are amazingly lucky to have found such an adorable friendship.
WOW! This video just made my week! How did the Lab know that his buddy was nearby? Is there some animal to animal form of distance communication I don’t know about? Truly amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂
Apparently they meet almost every day. I think the dolphin comes into the harbour each day to visit it’s friend the dog. Too sweet – I just loved it also.
Every time I see this, I get teary-eyed…. Humans have SO much to learn from animals and their intelligence.
Isn’t that the truth! Wish we could all learn to be more like them. I had to share that video when I saw it – just so amazing.
Love it!!! I had not seen it before. We can learn a lot of things from dogs and other animals. And humans are supposed to be the most intelligent…are we really? Thank you for sharing the video.
Indeed, are we really the most intelligent. We don’t seem to be able to get past our differences and make friends no matter what. We destroy and plunder our planet. I do wonder about us sometimes. Glad you enjoyed the video – it was just too cute not to share.
Awww, what a lovely video, thanks for sharing!
Isn’t it just the most adorable thing?!!?
I LOVE this video! How cute are they both! Absolutely beautiful and charming! Bisous Bailey
Glad you enjoyed it Bailey. It really is so heartwarming when you see different species build such fabulous friendships.
I first saw this on a BBC show called “country file” on which Adam Hanson is a part time reporter, it is adorable. 🙂 I had a Golden Retriever who loved to swim in the sea but wouldn’t go near a river, my Border Collie will dive in a river but runs away from waves when we go to the beach? What goes on in their heads is a mystery to me sometimes. 😀
Wasn’t it a wonderful video!! Dogs can be so funny with regards to water. My dog Litchi is so terrified of the stuff that she even stands as far away from her water bowl as possible 😀
