A massive THANK YOU to all my wonderful readers who voted for my entry into Doggy’s Greatest Blog Contest of All Time. It may not have been the best entry but it was certainly for a good cause and playing the guilt card, plus adding in a smidgen of bribery and corruption has certainly done the trick.

The “soon to be homeless” Doggy. Maybe that wig will help as a disguise whilst begging on the streets?
Doggy is one generous dood, who decided to donate £20 vouchers, out of his own hard earned cash, to two winners. These vouchers are redeemable at Mollie’s Dog Treats, where there are scrumptious and wonderful items to be had (pop on over and get your Christmas shopping done).
Battersea Animal Shelter is one which Mollie & Alfie suggested for our Rescue Reveal. Being close to them, I have decided that Litchis £20 voucher could be better spent on these rescue animals. If you live anywhere vaguely nearby (basically, anywhere in the UK), why not consider them if you wish to adopt your next furry friend.
Now I know that £20 is not going to feed all the animals at Battersea Animal Shelter but each gorgeous critter that does manage to get a treat, will be having a great day. No single person can help all the animals in need but each one of us can do a little bit to help a few. It all mounts up and ends up counting for a lot.
Congrats for you and for Battersea 🙂
Thanks. Lets hope the Battersea animals get some lovely treats.
Congratulations!
Thanks Clowie. Glad I could help out a shelter so very far away from me.
You’re welcome – I’m really pleased to see it go to a shelter.
Perhaps they will buy some treats for the poor doggies and kitties that have been there the longest, It’s so sad, because there are 100’s of animals there and only a few will get a treat. Why do most people want puppies all the time…They could adopt a beautiful dog from there. Oh, I’m going on a roll, so better go now..lol You did good 🙂 xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
But it’s a good roll that you are on. I wish more people would adopt adult animals but, all we can do is keep plugging it. I think giving the treats to the animals who have been there the longest is a fabulous idea. Let’s hope they do that. I know it won’t go far but at least there’ll be a few happier animals. Thanks for making such great treats and helping to organise that Battersea get them. xx00xx
Sweet! Such a lovely idea. Nice work.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Thanks Cupcake. Hoping that every small bit counts and helps.
Congratulations, thats so nice!!!
Thanks Easy – always means a lot coming from you (even if you did run off with Mollie)
it was the template to win the contest ;o) but I’m glad Lady Litchi is the winner and I’m happy that she is such a generous Lady and has such a great heart .
Aw – thanks Easy – all is forgiven then 🙂
Congratulations and Battersea will be pleased. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Thank you and I hope Battersea are happy. I know it isn’t much but every little bit counts.
Concatulations! Me is so happy that yous wined!
Kisses
Nellie
We are as well 😀 Your comment has now made me think of wine – best go get some open and celebrate
Congrats – nice job!
Thanks – bribery and corruption works wonders 🙂
Litchi looks beautiful in the Christmas outfit! Thanks for what your doing for the rescued animals! Have a great Turkey day.
Thanks. I just loved Mollies Christmas outfit she made. As for turkey, I’m afraid we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here, so I’l have to wait for Christmas. You guys have an awesome time though.
Wonderful…! A great result. 😉
Thank you. It was so great to be able to give the prize to a shelter so far away from me. Big thanks to Doggy and Mollie for that!
Absolutely marvellous, tasty treats for the dogs looking for homes. Thank you for all you do for Battersea.
Blogville is a wonderful place, allowing me to help out a shelter so very far away. Doggy was so generous.
I just love that cat
Looks really gorgeous, doesn’t she. Hope someone sees the picture and goes and adopts her.
The shelter animals appreciate any little thing they get. I got my dog from a no-kill shelter where she had been for over 9 months. She had her issues initially, but 7 years later she’s a great dog. Anyone thinking of a new pet might find a very special one at their local animal shelter.
How wonderful that you adopted a dog that had been at the shelter for such a long time. Just brilliant. You’ll have to let us know more about her sometime.
Hey Lady Litchi, Hey Sabre, Hey Boks, Jet here. Hi Miss Susan.
Another Royal Success, M’Lady! How generous of Doggy to help you help Battersea. Not to worry about Doggy, we’ve offered him a room at Casa Jet if need be. 🙂
That was very gentlemanly of you Jet, as always. Hopefully Doggy has managed to get out of this without the need to reside in his blogging friends homes but it would have been fun anyway. Seems he can cook – I need one of those 😀
Battersea are always such a good cause
So glad to hear it. It’s wonderful being able to help out, just a tiny bit, for a place so far away from me.
Congrats! And definitely for a great cause. Every little bit helps. 🙂
Thanks. Blogville is wonderful, allowing me to help out just a little bit for a place so very far away.
We LOVED your entry….and are ever so happy that you won because of course it benefits those sweet animals at Battersea. Doggy was most generous in the prize category with his contest – but you certainly are as well donating your winnings to such a worthy cause. YAY!
Kitty hugs, Sammy

Was easy from my side. It was Doggy’s hard earned cash that had to get forked out. He really is being most generous.
Congrats!! So sweet of you, and I’m sure those quadpeds woulds say ‘Thanks bunches’!
Kisses,
Ruby
Thanks Ruby, really appreciate it. I know it’s not much but every little bit helps and it’s so great, with this Blogville of ours, to be able to do something for a shelter so very far away from me.
We’re so happy you won! Battersea will be the better for it, that’s for sure.
Thank you so much. I can’t believe we managed to win. Definitely wasn’t the best entry but the “guilt card” definitely seemed to pay off. Glad I could do some little thing for Battersea (this blogville is wonderful, being able to do something for a group so very far away).
Congratulations!
Thank you 🙂
Congratulations, you had a great entry 🙂
Aw, thanks Princess Zena, that means a lot coming from a beautiful Royal such as yourself.
Congratulations! Good job.
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Thanks Oskar, really appreciate it.
Congrats!
Thank you!
I sent you an award go to check my blog if you accept it…. no pressure 🙂
Thank you so much Roly, I really appreciate it. Such a cool award as well. Hope you are feeling a bit better.
I love Blondie and Litchi in the Christmas outfit and the Battersea’s animals, so adorable 🙂
People out there are so clever with their photoshopping. Definitely going to have to look into that. Thinking Litchi’s outfit will have to become my Christmas cards for this year.
Congrats! And lucky animals at Battersea. 🙂
At least it’s a little something towards helping the Battersea animals. Thanks
Every little things help. 🙂
I’ve just sent you an email.
Got it – thanks a million. You are such a star!
Congratulations!!
You are so right every little bit adds up and helps 🙂
Thank you. At least they get a tiny bit extra and who knows, maybe someone out there read about them and will help. It’s all we can hope for.
Great work and glad to meet you!
Oink oink,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig
Thanks and I’m so glad I found you too.
You are doing fantastic work, I am looking to adopt another dog in the spring, one who will guard the farm, so much to think about when getting a new pet though, especially with a farm yard of animals and birds! c
That would be absolutely fantastic, if you adopted a dog. I’m sure if there are good shelters near you, they would be able to assist with choosing an animal that would be good with all your other farm yard animals.
Today I was watching Bizarre Foods, the guy was in Uganda, according to him Springbuck meat is one of the most delicious meats he has ever had. When I’m a getting mine?
Tut, tut Doggy – you are definitely not getting one now. And to think, I’d just finished all the preparation work to get one over for play time.
Great job!
Howling our cheers!
the collies and chuck 🙂
Thanks Collies and Chuck,
So glad we were able to do something to help a shelter so very far away from us. Just love this blogging world of ours 🙂
Here I am finally catching up. Congrats on your win!
Thanks and, as you can see, I’m also starting to play catch up here, so I fully understand.
